  February 28, 2015 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. 50% whole cluster. Floral start with spice and red berries. Flavors were slightly less appealing to me, with more structure than ripe fruit and firm tannins for the level of concentration. I guess this was one of the more controversial wines at the tasting, with several people telling me they thought it showcased the green character of many 2011s, but I really can't completely agree with that.
