  May 8, 2015 - Sunny, breezy, and low seventies seemed like a great excuse to open a magnum of wine for the weekend. This was purchased about 18 months ago directly from David Duncan/Twomey thanks to the efforts of Tom Laengle. Bouquet of cassis, black cherry and plum, more of the same on the palate, extremely mouth filling and decadently rich on the mid palate, the second best bottle of this wine that I have ever enjoyed, elegant, medium/big body and long, long, luscious finish and aftertaste. This is Merlot Bordeaux style!
