  November 12, 2015 - Just tasted Sandrone's le vigne 01 (big hit!) and wanted to taste some more barolo. This also is a great wine, and it adds roses to the bouquet (a whiff and then it was gone...), takes out the fruit altogether, and the tobacco piney, leathery notes are stronger (whereas theses scents were 'dry' with the sandrone, it is like these scents are more 'humid' and therefore present in this wine). It is slightly less harmonious and burgundy like than Le vigne, but impressive nonetheless and texturally it is perhaps easier to like. Drink now?
