1/15/17, 7:32 AM - I expect it was oxidised rather than corked?? I feel for you; I've had it with Bonneau du Martray. I have a 2004, 2005 and a 2006 left - and will never buy again; so many oxidised - grrr.

1/15/17, 10:28 AM - Greg - of the 9 of 24 bottles drunk, two have been corked and only one showed any sign of incipient POX unlike the 96s all of which were POXED to a greater or lesser extent. The 01s were clean and I've generally been lucky with the 98s, 02s and 06s (in my view a much better vintage for BdM than the books will tell you). I'll look at my 99s, 07s and 05s later this year, so here's hoping to avoid the dreaded POX. My older vintages are still superb, particularly 89 and 90 and my last bottle of 95 (in '15) was very fine.....so don't give up hope. I'm still buying this grower in spite of eye watering recent prices! Regards, Liber
