February 18, 2017 - Sourced from steep slopes on loess, clay and slate soils in the Ahr Valley. 12.5% alcohol. Aged in large used wooden barrels. This is Kreuzberg's introductory Pinot. Purchased for $15. Clear rose color. Wet earth and a little smoke on the nose. Notes of soft red fruit including cranberries and bing cherries. Mild tannins. A wine best consumed by 2019. 88 points.

2/19/17, 8:55 AM - I have been wanting to try this wine but wanted a bit more of a recommendation from someone. It sounds good. I love Ahr wine.

2/27/17, 8:28 AM - We visited the Ahr Valley last year and tasted at Adeneuer, Jean Stodden and Kreuzberg. This introductory level pinot is a very good value.
