September 30, 2017 - Courtesy of VM. This reminds me a bit of a spicy gamay. Pretty light on its feet with a strawberry/cranberry/cherry profile along with clove and other spices. Slightly sour fruit in the finish was made better when paired with supper. Initially I had rated this lower.

February 18, 2017 - Sourced from steep slopes on loess, clay and slate soils in the Ahr Valley. 12.5% alcohol. Aged in large used wooden barrels. This is Kreuzberg's introductory Pinot. Purchased for $15. Clear rose color. Wet earth and a little smoke on the nose. Notes of soft red fruit including cranberries and bing cherries. Mild tannins. A wine best consumed by 2019. 88 points.
