December 7, 2018 - Opened by Bill. First made in 1976, this is a blend of 14 Crus and mostly (88%) Grand Cru. 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay. 1st time I have had this vintage although i've had the 1990, 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2002. This bottle was up there with the 1996 and 2002. Pale straw color. This is in a nice spot. Starting to show some honey and cream notes but still lively with a solid bead. No rush to drink. 93 points.

12/7/18, 3:58 PM - Did you try this after it had been open a while? When first popped, it was a it strange and cheesy. I let it sit in a glass for a while while tasting other wines. It. Improved, then I noticed some still in the bottle at the end of the evening and that’s when it finally came around for me.
