Community Tasting Note

  • La Randonnee Likes this wine: 91 points

December 22, 2018 - Chocholate, smoke and tabac. Plum, hint of vanille, van cherry. Smooth and very fruity entry. Mid palate adds texture and pleasantly chewy tannins. Rich and plummy, Long, nice acid which lends itself to a nice meal.
Plenty of life and development to be had, drink by 2023?
Bringing back lovely memories of our tour and visit at the domaine, thanks Mario!

12/23/18, 12:26 PM - I remember Mario from my trip!! I still have a couple bottles left. Great description.

12/24/18, 10:40 AM - Super! It seems to be a popular tasting spot in Brunello. Interestingly saw the cork has 08/14 date on it, so the wine saw long aging in tank (presumably roveri?, botti?)
