Community Tasting Notes 4

August 8, 2021 - Not as exciting as my prior bottle. Definitely near end of life. My initial reaction was it was past its prime, but opened up after about an hour in the glass. Dusty flowers, earth, and leather on the pallet. Subdued nose. Still some decent acidity. Do not hold this one any longer.

December 22, 2018 - Chocholate, smoke and tabac. Plum, hint of vanille, van cherry. Smooth and very fruity entry. Mid palate adds texture and pleasantly chewy tannins. Rich and plummy, Long, nice acid which lends itself to a nice meal.
Plenty of life and development to be had, drink by 2023?
Bringing back lovely memories of our tour and visit at the domaine, thanks Mario!

November 23, 2017 - Fantastic right now. Took to Big Bend on a Thanksgiving camping excursion. The star lit night, the food, and this wine paired perfectly together.

September 15, 2015 - A subtle bouquet and light on the palette, this wine has a hint of red berries. Tanins stronger afterwards but not overbearing.
