August 15, 2020 - Decanted for an hour, but was ready after 10-5 min aeration. Coming with black olives, coffee, spices and olive oil, same in the mouth with a bit of dusty feeling. Some forest floor aromas are just emerging and I think it will be more exciting when those tertiary aromas develop. Went smoothly with a charcuterie board.

8/17/20, 7:06 AM - I think the sweet spot for these is about 15 years post vintage. I've had bottles from good vintages pushing 20 and they seemed past prime, but a few years younger were singing.
Thanks for the note, I will continue to be patient with my 2010's.
