January 4, 2020 - Wines that F**k to kick off the new year (Bob's, Lincoln Park, Chicago, IL): Nose: The nose is polished and perfumed with black cherries, raspberries, cranberries, licorice, dusty notes, violets, tobacco, leather, roses, and herbs. There is excellent depth and poise with a lot of well balanced fruit at this time.
Taste: The feel is Medium/full bodied with tart, medium+ acidity and chewy, medium+ tannins. The structure is very youthful but the feel is lovely and balanced with black cherries, raspberries, licorice, dusty notes, herbs, roses, and leather tones.
Overall: This is extremely young, but it's also extremely good. There is a lushness to the fruit with a good savory quality and good depth.6 people found this helpful 8,770 views

9/22/20, 5:02 AM - For some of us, it's just what we find on the menu....for others it's a sense of adventure to see how these pups drink young. I wanted the '14 that was on the list in that little alley way eatery in Rome back in '18 but for some reason all they had in the cellar was the newly released '15 so we took it. It was young, but it was good and it hit the spot that night in Rome.

9/30/20, 11:46 AM - Vino....heading back to Rome next summer again as soon as they let us Americans back in! I'm going to search out that little restaurant again and look for TINA! Maybe drink a '17 Tig, too! Lol........
