Mainly fruits on palate, cherry, raisin, strawberries, vaguely baking chocolate, pepper, licorice and anise, with a bitter unpleasant side taste spoiling everything 😞

color 는 황금색에 가까울정도로 진한편.
노즈에서는 샤도네이가 주 품종임을 드러낸다. 토스티 하며 고소한 이스트향.
팔렛은 샤도네이의 캐릭터가 지배적이며. 옐로 프룻의 과실향. 파인애플향이 적당한 산미로 피니쉬를 맺으며 매력적인 피니쉬를 보임. 버블은 약간은 러프하다. 하지만 대체적으로 밸런스는 좋은 와인. 노즈 팔렛 산미 버블이 조금씩만 더다듬어진다면 매우 훌륭할듯

2018 was a wet year, meaning higher yields, larger berries, less concentration. Elegant with nice dark fruit with tar, leather, spice and tobacco. Medium weight, fruit and structure nicely in balance. The structure is good without being too strong. Good length and straightforward. Drinking now and over the next 10 to 20 years

The hate flows through me, like a warm summer day; it is so lovely, true and right.

I have never heard of this winery but, being stupid and full of cash, I decided to try based on a strong review from that naughty Galloni fellow.

Under the dread cork (the wine, not me, me, me), I have enjoyed this wine over 2 days, with an increasing sense of melancholy as the level in the bottle and glass drew down. Put simply, this is an elegant, adorable take on Brunello that eschews the usual brawny, young style. The wine is like the 3 sisters featured in some of the promos - rounded, enticingly soft but not flabby and very attractive though not in a plastic Taylor Swift way. They also exhibit a damned sight more talent that Swifty and there is no winery autotune.

The texture is quite magical - voluptuous, but light on its feet and then very fine tannins provide support at the end. Wow! The fruit is very pretty - strawberry and red berry, lots of those Italian dried herbs and then some earth and forest floor. Galloni (curse him) was right - this is hard to keep your hands off. That is an unusual quality in young Brunello.

There is a picture of two tit-mouse birds on the label and I will just say no more about this. Really.

Interestingly, this wine has a very long ferment using only wild yeasts in the winery. I find it hard not to envisage legions of thrush devastated female winery staff being herded through the winery to impart their magic, whilst being recolonized, so the whole brutal cycle can continue. I think any wine that helps create these flights of fancy has to be regarded as sensational and I have rarely felt more comfortable in saying this is worth trying. Galloni lives another day, but what of you lot?

Enjoyed this bottle over 5 days, a glass each day, watching it evolve from and understated, muted wine to a very delicate and pretty melange of white spring blossom, lime with hints of Kaffir, saline, seaside mineralite and oyster shell. Hints of honey and burnt butter as time went on.
Conclusion: I should enjoy more botts over several day.

Very pleasant wine, nothing outstanding or negative. A great example of Zin, soft, round and fruity, without the horrid jammy note you get with a poor example.

The connection between tannin and freshness gives a beautiful linearity to the wine that elegantly crosses the palate, leaving a fruity finish and excellent persistence.

Rosso rubino scarico, con lievi accenni di granato, intensi sentori floreali di viola, note di piccoli frutti rossi su uno sfondo di sottobosco e erbe di montagna, corpo medio, buona freschezza con un tannino fine ed elegante. Il legame tra tannino e freschezza conferisce una bella linearità al vino che attraversa elegantemente il palato lasciando un fin di bocca fruttato e dall'ottima persistenza.

Full to medium body. Low to medium acidity. Soft tanines. Smooth. Nice structure 👏

Nicely aromatic - mixture of oak, spices and fruits 👏

Rich, full, round and complex on the palate - a great mixture of tobacco, dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla, pepper, licorice, cinnamon, anise, plum, strawberries, blackberries, pomegranate, leather, stone, earthy 👏

Lovely wine, have couple of more🍷

Another stellar bottle, no decanting required. This qualifies as one of my favorite Chiantis—reliably impressive every time. Beautiful, viscous ruby, lovely spice-laden cherry nose, and ripe cherry palate. This is the whole package. 5-13-17-9: 94/100.

Bright red. Slight reduction on the nose, cherry and blackcurrant, peppery tannins, all very young. Warm and full of fruit, clack cherry and currant, simplistic at this stage although enjoyable. Would stand a long ageing process too? With some air this opens up a bit, and stays simple - black cherry, red fruit and young tannins.

Pure, rich but elegant. Red fruits and tar on the palate. There is mocha, dark chocolate and cedar notes. Nice warmth. Long finish with developing complexity. Beginning to drink now and will continue for another 20 years.

어마어마하게 싸게 구한 건 아니지만 그래도 꽤나 괜찮은 가격에 구했던 이태리 레드 와인.
가격을 생각하면 한병을 더 사서 마시고 싶은 맛이긴 한데 반대로 가격을 생각하니 셀러링을 해야 하나 싶기도.
그럼에도 결론부터 말하면 왠지는 모르겠지만 보르도 와인의 좋은 점을 가지고 있는 와인.

노즈에서는 검은 과실의 향기와 오크향기가 지배적이다.
약간의 연유 향이 나긴 하는데 발효되었다는 느낌은 있는데 달달하지는 않다.
시간이 지나니 약간 시큼한 향이 나는 것 같기도.

입에서는 발사믹 식초를 마시는듯한 산도가 꽤나 재미있다.
이어서 약간 달달한 맛이 나는듯 싶은데 거슬릴 정도는 아니다.
몇 시간 정도 지나니 시큼한 맛이 지나치게 강해져서 먹고 싶은 감정이 많이 사라진다.

A truly enjoyable wine. Complete from start to finish, lively yet full of flavor. Aromas and flavors of black raspberry and stone fruit, some light smoke and spice… tannins mostly resolved now and the tang/tart perception from a couple years ago has rounded out as expected. Elegant, tasty, and fun.

Pale lemon. Medium+ aromas of lemon, lime, pear, apple, melon, wet stones, hazelnut, blossom. High acidity, medium+ body. Long somewhat creamy finish. Outstanding. Not sure about ageing potential. perhaps a couple more years but you don't want to lose the primary fruit aromas.

The aromas emanating from the glass have the depth of red fruit, especially blackberries and sour cherries, with the intensity and penetrating notes of tertiary scents: leather and tobacco first and foremost. In the mouth, it's a burst of energy and strength from a well-structured body, where the interplay of tannins is prominent but unfolds on a delicate carpet.

si mostra con il suo rosso rubino molto intenso, denso, fitto. I profumi che provengono dal calice hanno la profondità della frutta rossa, su tutti more e amarene, con l’intensità e le note penetranti dei sentori terziari: cuoio e tabacco in primis. In bocca è un sussulto di energia e forza di un corpo ben strutturato, in cui il gioco dei tannini è ben presente ma si dipana su un tappeto delicato

Interesting for sure and had a window of about 1 hour from opening where it showed well, then went downhill from there. Tea, rusty nail, tertiary flavours. Would be confused with an aged barolo easily.
