I am excited with this 2023 Israeli rose even its not the greatest, because there isn't many "good" kosher roses (sad..). So if the rose is drinkable even when its lacking a bit in acidity it a win..

It's a blend of Grenache (85%)
and Counoise (15%) 11%alc NM

It shows nice aromas of Passion fruit, Kiwi, Fresh strawberry, Starfruit, Lychee, Papaya, Grapefruit, Lemon. In the mouth it is dry but fruity with mild acidity(👎) flavors like aroma, finish is medium and tangy.

easy to drink..

I really liked the 2019 Rosso di Montalcino from Casanova di Neri, it was a slightly-lighter Brunello, relative to that this was a bit of a disappointment. Still a delicious wine if less of a "special occasion" wine.
So: popped and poured: Lovely bouquet with cranberry, cherry, violet, and forest floor, medium body, slight bite and bitterness on the finish, alcohol 13.5 covered, medium finish, lots of charm. Definitely a food wine.

This bottle was a bit quiet but sound. Left half of it under vacuum to try a second night.

Better than I remember from before. Served with smoked pulled pork mole enchiladas 😋. Perfect. Nice nose of dark fruit, oak, vanilla. Medium-full bodied, soft but firm tannins, nice acidity and finish. Plenty of oomph to stand up to this rich and spicy dinner, a perfect complement.

A year on from the previous bottle and still evolving beautifully. A touch more umami and some secondary flavours in the mid-palate. Just lovely. Soft tannins, smooth, harmonious. Sweet ripe fruit core: pure pleasure. A joy to drink.

A delicious Californian Grenache,
fruit forward with balanced spices.

This was my friday night kiddush wine I was afraid I'm not going to be able to enjoy it to the fullest since i was a little under the weather, however it was so amazingly delicious that it took me right up to the higher spirits, A REAL ONEG SHABBAT!!

Red fruit, Sweet cherry, raspberry, fig, cloves, hints of oak, some herbal notes, Red bell pepper, Freash farm grape tomatoes, Black pepper and spices

NM 14.5ABV

Profound aroma, nice silky mouth, fruity with medium acidity, the tannins is smooth but not strong I would say low to medium, with a medium spicy finish!!

Strawberry bouquet. Aromatic on the palate, with also strawberry notes and a hint of rhubarb. Dry. Medium acids and length. Quite nice, best with food, for ex.

A nice enough rose, fruit forward with bright acidity, however has some kind of bitterness that I personally don't like.

Grapes:
Pinot noir, Grenache, Barbera,

Profile:
peach salmon in color, nice aroma, bright fruit forward flavors with refreshing acidity and medium finish.

👃👅:
Papaya, Apricot, Guava, Orange peel, Strawberries, Bitter cucumbers, Peach, Watermelon,

I enjoyed the wine over a span of a few days, and it held up fine, plus the bitterness fade away slowly

Had both a 2020 and a 2021, both were aging gracefully and slowly the 2021 was a bit more expressive but both were lovely.

Pale lemon colour. Pronounced and youthful nose with blackcurrant leaves, grapefruit, flint, green apples, lime, nettle and gooseberry. Pronounced taste of green apples, grapefruit, lime, nettle, flint, lemon, blackcurrant leaves and gooseberry. Medium long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A good Californian Sauvignon Blanc that lacks some complexity and length. Drink now. Goes well with salads or vegetables.

Not decanted. 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Tinta Barroca, 30% Touriga Franca. The wine seems very strong and intense, has a slight heat at the moment, yet I would not have expected it to have 16% (!) alcohol. Still a little young, but the wine is already a lot of fun. 91+ pts. at the moment.

OK, my new favourite affordable champagne, yeasty toasty aromas with a full bodied palate and fine bubbles. Delicious, the kind of champagne you can have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Still a beast. Deep purple and no signs of peaking. Tannin still providing lots of structure with a need for 2-3 hour decant. This has years left. Had it with friends and will be looking to add a few of these as it will continue to get better over the next 2-3 years before a long life at peak.

First of two. Excellent. Slight eucalyptus on the nose with dark fruit. Color was excellent with no bricking on the edges. Still dark and brooding. Smooth with tannins largely integrated. 3.5 hr decant and it needed all of it. Cannot wait to have the second bottle.

Still solid, dark red fruits, nice structure, lift in midpalate, and smooth tannins at finish. Need to try this beside some WA branded Red Mountain Cabs.

One hour decant. Excellent nose that reminds of red fruit and a little spice. Drinking great but will be better in 3-5 years as it mellows.

Tropical and floral, and not as mineral or herbal as I prefer, but tasty. Sweet but not heavy (M to M- body), acidity moderate / lower energy than I’d like for a Mosel kabi but enough to work with food. Probably ideal for spicy Thai or Vietnamese type dishes.

Gaja Vertical Celebration: PnP for an hour. Very consistent with other notes. This was a little bit of a roller coaster, offering flashes of freshness, silkiness, and bewildering complexity, with notes of ripe strawberry and hints of dusty rose. At times, it tightened up with firm tannins. However, this has all the stuffing to be an unforgettable wine. I can't wait to try this again in 5-10 years. 94-95

Drunk at the chateau and definitely a step up from the Chateau Ferrand which is their bigger production wine. Medium colour but definite spicy plum and forest floor tertiary notes. This continues to age well and may yet improve

Pale yellow-gold with green tint. Citrus, green apple, white peach, white flowers, medium toasted barrel, oak, hazelnut, flint and minerality. Medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium structure, medium alcohol and medium finish. Complex, energetic and well-balanced. Good tension on the palate.

2021 Magis seemed to be less imposing than 2019 and 2020. Most likely due to the vintage. Still fabulous, but I would focus on buying 2019 and 2020, rather than 2021.

Wine pours a deep purple in the glass. Developing, med intense aromas of salted pork, smoke/camphor, black olive, liquorice, crushed rock, black cherry, plum, prune, oak, vanilla, tar, herbes d'Provance. Feels like a well made St. Joseph/Crozes in the nose. In the mouth, the wine is dry, full bodied, med + acid, med + tannin, medium alcohol, med + intensity, with a medium + finish. Overall, very good, can drink now, has potential to age further 5+ yrs. A solid representation of the grape, and a well made wine.

Second bottle of this, starting to fade a bit, would have expected it to improve?still decent but on this showing drink up.

Very enjoyable and ready to drink. Light body, good clarity, pairs well with fish. Nice cherry, and light fruit from start to end.

We've experienced significant bottle variation with recent Berlioz offerings, but this altesse was quite lovely. Pure alpine springwater, florals, almonds, and a touch of citrus. Should continue to develop for a few more years.

Pours a pale lemon in the glass. Developing, med + intense aromas of ripe pear, honeydew& cantaloupe melons, lemon oil, wet stone, chamomile, jasmine, ripe white peach, yougurt, cream, honey, some baking spice (nutmeg/allspice) and smoke on the finish- loving the "restraint" here- not as fleshy and boozy as a lot of Condrieus can be. In the mouth, the wine is dry, low acid, full body, high alcohol, med + intensity with a long finish. Overall, very good- can drink now, has the potential for aging in the short term. My type of Condrieu.
Red
Dark purple colour starting to fade on rim, plummy taste with spice, not overtly aromatic, and not worth the price despite being a decent bottle.

A wine and vintage I drank a year ago in NYC at a James Suckling event and then purchased 4 bottles. Still young , very dry, grippy tannins, very high acidity and 15% abv but enjoyable. Dried red cherry. tar , violet leather. Will only improve further from here for 10-20 years.
White
Similar to my last note, better with some pan seared salmon than by itself.
White
Pours a pale lemon in the glass. Developing, medium intense aromas of crushed rock, sea spray, lemon juice and expressed peel, green and yellow apples, chamomile, flinty reduction, unripe pineapple, wet stones, and fresh cut grass. In the mouth, the wine is dry, high acid, medium bodied, medium alcohol, intense in the mouth with a medium finish. Overall, very good- though I'd really like to see some more length in the finish. Old vine aligote from a single parcel in Gevrey-Chambertin, you don't see that every day. Can drink now or over the next 5 years, IMO.
