A typical feminine chambolle musigny. Not perfumed but lacking real depth.
Will continue to drink nicely for a few years yet but probably won't evolve from here.

PnP, chilled but better after 10-15 minutes of air. Remarkably youthful at 11+ years. The color was a clear light to medium straw yellow. Notes of orange and minerality on the nose. The medium bodied palate showed some very slight frizzante along with notes of minerality, orange and some stone fruit. Essentially dry with racy acidity. Appears to have some years ahead.

Fresh and light with lots of mineral notes, but also a bit more simple than I hoped.

Quite reductive on the nose. Some lemon and light spice with swirling. Lemon curd on the palette. Great weight, energy, and acidity. Maybe a lengthy decant, or another decade, would improve. Nose too reductive to score.

3Úme bouteille dégustée, l'équilibre est excellent, on ne sent pas du tout de lourdeur, c'est digeste mais il y a du fond. Beaucoup de plaisir, comme toujours avec le CÎte du Py de Foillard.

Wow, impressively youthful fruit is plump and juicy with fresh acidity that gives the wine plenty of vibrancy. You could complain that this is perhaps a bit simple at this age, but the youthfulness at age 60 is impressive.

This was much better than I expected. It’s aged beautifully as well-made grenache should. Medium bodied and medium intensity, neither a heavy highly-extracted rendition of grenache but not a super light or elegant version either. Raspberry/strawberry/cranberry fruit supported by savory notes in the background. Conveys a sense of having mellowed with time but still pretty robust and forward. Don’t know if this will get better with more age, probably won’t, but it could certainly hang in there a few more years easily. Very good/excellent 4 (out of 5).

Needs 30 minutes of air. Gorgeous aged red fruit, some leather notes but mostly red cherry. Fresh and savory, just delicious. One of my favorite cab producers.

Still quite young and primary, but the future is promising with great structure, mouthfeel, texture and concentration. At this stage quite elegant and subtle. Slightly oxidative, citrus, orchard fruit, minerality, some balanced richness and spice. Looking forward to trying this again in a couple of years.

What a bottle - still so much fruit and life here with plenty of earthen complexity and some remaining rustic structure. A treat while celebrating a friends 60th birthday.

This starts off a bit simple, but gains complexity with extended air. Light white orchard fruit, mineral, hint of honeysuckle. A little more time in bottle should help this round out a bit. Great value.

09 & 10 pair. Wow, this is a wine that has it all. Intense, deep perfume that has layer upon layer. Gorgeous red fruit that at once shows power and pristine refinement and silkiness. Incredible length with a finish that goes on and on. In a dazzling peak window. Red WOTN.

09 & 10 pair. Fortunate to have tasted this twice in one week, and much better this second time as we were able to enjoy it over a couple of hours and dinner. Very impressive depth and concentration with slightly riper fruit than the 2010, but handled quite adeptly as this was totally harmonious. Early peak drinking with upside from here.

more approachable and smoother than prior bottles. good nose, balance between fruit and earthy. Feels like this is perfect time to drink but I don't have enough experience with Bordeaux to know if 5-10 years will make it better or not

PnP is very reductive and needs some air to blow off. A very expressive wine on both the nose and palate. Ripe orchard fruit, struck match, spice and a soft woodiness. Beautiful mouthfeel, soft acidity and luscious. In a great spot right now, but no rush to drink up.

Light gold colour.

Pronounced aromas of grilled pineapple, toasted sesame seeds, struck match, lemon curd, peach yogurt, ripe yellow apple, salted mango, nectarine, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, acacia, honey.

Pronounced palate.

Medium (+) body, medium (+) acidity, long finish.

Nose shows kalamata olive, red and black plums, some earth, violets an and a bit of heat. Silky on the mouth with fine tannins on the back end. Palate leans more towards black fruit, but nice depth. Young now but great potential.

I purchased this dry riesling a couple of years ago when we visited the winery. One of the things I noticed at the time was that Coeur de Terre builds their wines for age, so a 9-year old riesling is not out of order. Deep amber in the glass almost like an orange wine, stone fruits, lemon, minerality with an acidic core adding vitality. We initially drank at 55F which worked well for this aged riesling.

This was my inaugural experience with a red wine from Vincent Dancer. Served pnp, the aroma appeared somewhat subdued initially, but it gradually gained complexity over the course of an hour. The wine exhibited delightful notes of ripe berries and a subtle hint of forest floor, creating an alluring bouquet. It presented itself as a graceful and feminine expression of Pommard.

Darkest red, blueish edges --- Nose dark fruit notes, earthy tones, blueberry, some marzipan, some alcohol coming through, blueberry pie, nice elegant wood notes --- Palate fresh, nice acidity, fruity, cherries joining blueberry flavors, some sour cherry, too, overall dark and powerful --- Finishes medium long on its tart aspects and minerals. This is not my vine, a little too heavy while some heat burdens the fruity aspects. QPR questionable.

Last of my Rutherfords for this vintage, still drinking great and an awesome pairing with a Tuscan rubbed NY Strip and a lobster tail dinner. Super smooth tannins, lots of black pepper, plumb, with stewed fruit aromas.

05 & 10 Groffier & Vogue Les Amoureuss. Probably the wine that will make the oldest bones in the line-up, with incredible depth and concentration and already showing some degrees of refinement, but not yet at peak. Decanted for ~90 minutes. Clear upside from here.

05 & 10 Groffier & Vogue Les Amoureuss. The second best in the line-up tonight with more power and stuffing vs. the 10 Groffier, and also not yet quite as seamless. I would hold for ~5 years and re-visit to see if it's approaching a peak drinking window.

Rounded nose with melon, white peach and light oak influence. Palate is less expressive - mostly pear with decent acid. A nice wine, but not as strong as other vintages.

This village Narvuax exudes elegance and refinement. Served pnp, it revealed a prominent bouquet of popcorn, delicate floral and fruits notes. A well-defined minerality and a lingering acidity that added depth and structure. As it breathed, it continued to improve, unfolding its layers and revealing even more complexity. Still years ahead.

Even better than my last bottle, this is really coming together. We tasted this first at the Walla Walla Grenache Fest when Trey was pouring some at his table, it was tasty then but really a rocking good Grenache now. Lots of red fruit, minerality, black pepper, medium+ body.
