Flight 1 (1 note)

White - Sparkling
2000 Dom Pérignon Champagne France, Champagne
Pleasant if unspectacular

Flight 2 (1 note)

Red
1998 Domaine Armand Rousseau Père et Fils Chambertin France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambertin Grand Cru
92 points
Fresh and fragrant noses of ripe red berries. Firm masculine structure. Can do with a couple more years in the cellar.

Flight 3 (2 notes)

Red
1982 Paul Jaboulet Aîné Hermitage La Chapelle France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Hermitage
95 points
Exotic perfume of cherries, asian spices and dried prunes. Lovely to drink now. No need to decant.
Red
1983 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
86 points
Should have decanted. Initially a bit tight with some notes of metal. Improved with air but i found the brett and farmyard character a touch overwhelmimg.
