Kept some wine in the glass to try later and it got much better. Compared to the Manso de Velasco, Mas La Plana is clearly the one to last longer as it has more structure, lower rating is due to the wine being closed. I have no doubt it will only get (much) better with time.

The wine is dry, med+ body and intensity, med+ acidity and med alcohol, tannins are med+, big and strong tannins, the wine feels that is still a baby, red and black fruits, a stronger oak presence than the rest of the masterclass, med finish with a few vegetal notes.
