Dark core with rose crimson rim, lots of color change; medicinal red cherry, sandalwood, mint, licorice, meaty cherry; smooth texture initially, hot, hard red fruit, some Slavonian oak, rich and caressing mouthfeel, nice wrap of tannin on finish, cedar, more feminine; called Barbaresco; good.

Very dark core with lots of bricking, sediment; Bordeaux funk, tilled earth, red currant, green pepper, green tobacco, maduro, ripe, luxurious, tertiary; smooth fruit, softer tannin, spicy red currant; very good.

Dark crimson core with orange rim, good clarity; roses, tar, cherry, pure, cinnamon, menthol, licorice, powerful, classic; powerful on the palate, some age, tannic but not hard, classic, really long finish; I was on Cannubi with the amazing aromatics and great balance, this was a wow wine.

Dark red crimson with copper rim; red cherry, cinnamon, cedar, sandalwood, raisiny ripeness, rich, seemingly younger, dusty; spicy, cinnamon, strong cedar, dried red fruit, orange oil; almost like an elegant Brunello; very youthful and could go much further.

Pale crimson with pale rose rim; cranberry, orange peel, spice, clove, real sour cherry, green note that's well integrated, cinnamon, spicy, Asian spice; snappy red fruit, cranberry, rhubarb, sour cherry, strawberry, spicy, sappy, high acid, leaner fruit, long finish; delicious, should improve a touch with more time.

Dark core, slight cloudy, pale crimson rim; roses, leather, cedar, cigar box, sandalwood, plummy, dark cherry, cigar, spice, very deep; softer tannin, spicy, red currant, plum, large scaled, sandalwood, glycerin, only a touch of heat, strong tannin; very good.

Darker garnet core with light reddish purple rim; ripe sour plum, watermelon, cherry, stem, young, sulfur, animal; high acid, tart fruit, good texture, dark floral; very good but less impressive than previous bottles.

See through garnet with pale rim; more subtle nose, dense cherry and cranberry with spice, earth, leather, cherry pit; tart, sour cherry, dense, rich, leather, kind of tannic, cherry bitters; very good and typical of vintage.

Very dark opaque core with thin dull garnet rim; blue cheese, coffee, beef stock, red currant, vanilla, green pepper, violets; strong tannin, good fruit, green pepper; modern but very good.

Dark core with bricking; pencil lead, graphite, clay, red currant, tobacco, blue cheese, very Bordeaux, green pepper, spice, earth, mushroom, tannic finish; very good.
