November 20, 2023 - From a magnum. Decanted 2 hr prior to serving with our meal. Drank extremely well throughout the evening.
Smooth integrated tannins, well balanced, long finish and evolved so wonderfully during the meal.
No signs of age on this bottle. In a perfect place.

July 12, 2023 - Piemonte - mature Barolo & Barbaresco (at my home): very good - met expectations

March 18, 2022 - Colour: Granite with browning edges. Almost a slight maderized colour.
Aromas: Dried berry and plum fruits, tar, and some florals. A bit dusty and earthy. Wafts of cigar box and baking spices to finish.
Flavours: Beautiful wine. Some creaminess mixed with the dried dark berry and cherry fruits. Getting tar, tea, earthiness, baking spices. Some pluminess. Long finish.
Mouthfeel: Really opens up and smooths out after a couple of hours. Medium weight. Dusty creamy tannins. Medium acidity. Nice overall balance, very smooth.
Overall: This is how barolo/barbaresco should age. This was wonderful.

October 24, 2021 - Garnet with browning. Aromas showing black cherries, dried dark berry fruit, tar, some florals, spices.
Nice overall structure with medium acidity, dusty chalky coating tannins but not overwhelming. Fruit is drying out with the emergence of tertiary flavours. Dark berry flavours and plum. Black tea with some bitterness, and tar. Spices. More on the pleasant bitter spectrum rather then the sweet ripe spectrum. But well balanced and tasty.

April 4, 2021 - I agree with others on this - it's a wonderful wine that is drinking beautifully now. Mine showed some visual signs of age. Tannins have integrated beautifully and do not overpower at all. There is still beautiful fruit there, but also some tertiary notes. This was a real pleasure - an excellent wine at this stage.
