This is a 100% Assyrtiko and it is full of flowers, has pleasant and mild acidity and less bitterness than the basic wine of this domain. Inviting and clean wine.

Drank beside the 2015 and it appears the wine changes over time, or is the vintage completely different? I can’t imagine. The wine is much more mineral and even a bit stinky with flint stone. On the palate acidic peach. The 2015 is much more fresh and pleasant. ( but less complex if you want to be positive about the 2013.)

This wine gets 18 months of oak and you can easily smell that in the perfumed bouquet with red and dark berries and vanilla. On the palate juicy dark berries, a lot of sweet spices. oak, a touch of sweetness, good acidity and tannin and a good length. Wait 3 – 4+ years 90+

Beautiful dark and red forest fruits, beautiful and well dosed oak. Beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. In this stage very elegant, but cellaring this until 2025+ will be rewarding. I have a few, so there will be follow ups. 91++ for today.

This was definitely the most luxurious and impressive wine of the tasting with very luxurious oak and cedar. Very perfumed and beautifully toasted. Good balance between acidity and sweetness, beautifully ripe dark berries. Overall a luxurious wine with a great concentration and also a lot of finesse. A true feast!! 95+
