Lots of stone fruit aromas and flavors with very good concentration, but very mature for a wine at this age.

White
2008 Benoit Ente Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Folatières En la Richarde France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru
93 points
Slightly floral start with lots of apple and buttered toast aromas with spice hints. Similar flavors, just bigger and powerful, while still elegant. Slightly reserved start, much more powerful an hour+ later. This just kept getting better, longer and more complex. Clearly not yet at its peak.

Extremely ripe and slightly lacking acidity. A formula for a tired wine.

Open an hour+ before serving. Moderately mature black cherry with animale and roasted meat. Very good weight and length. Nicely balanced. Good now, but this should age gracefully/ easily for another decade+.
