Augusta, GA

Introduction

the annual boujie WASP wine and golf throw down...you can live vicariously through well thought wine-centric prose

2011 Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley USA, California, Napa Valley

honestly Silver Oak is like that girl you go out with that doesn't do anything to make you want to lose her number...but also doesn't really do anything to make you roll out of the bar at 3am jonesing to meet up later...but rich people with wine vision as wide as that of a blind kentucky derby race horse love it...at least it's better than Caymus special selection lolz

I saw Tiger on the 3rd tee...I said "Tiger, come over later and drink Oreno with me!"

he didn't answer and kept walking...I'll get him next time

unfortunately for Mr. Spence...this was the warm up to the Madonna...and the ramp down after Madonna lol...like playing in the group before Tiger, where no one really cares about you, they're just talking in your backswing about which Augusta chain restaurant they destroyed last night...and then playing in the group after Tiger, where everyone is already gone, talking in your backswing as they run after Tiger begging him to drink Oreno with them lolz

but it was good...maybe Caymus special selection wouldn't get railroaded so much if it came from Howell Mountain lolz #valleyCaymus

Old Tom Morris...I mean Watson...won the Par 3 tourney...I wonder if anyone even noticed with Rickie's GF out there caddying...I sure didn't lolz...this one had a very Old Tom Watson...I mean Morris...flavor to it lol
Red
2008 Constant Claret Diamond Mountain Vineyard USA, California, North Coast, Napa / Sonoma

we paired this up against the 09 IP BdM...kind of like pairing Johnny Miller and Nick Faldo...'Merica vs Europe...trying to see which one can trash tour pros the best...my bet is on Faldo, he's so ninja-passive-aggressive with his intellectual accent and British giggles lol you don't even know he just trashed your golf game to 10 million people on tv until two weeks later lol...Johnny will just straight up tell you how bad you suck lol...Faldo wins

I saw Tiger again...this time on the 17th tee...I overheard him tell his caddy how much he loved Caymus special selection...that's loser talk...winners drink vintage Dunn Howell Mountain...I guess Tiger has decided his next victory will be coming on the Champions Tour...

I'm pretty sure Bro-rolo's Masters wine throw down is draining the wine cellars of the world RN...to which I say who's cellar are we raiding next? lol

If Patrick Reed was as sweet as this wine...then maybe people wouldn't be dogging his epic victory this weekend lolz...personally I prefer a-hole type tannins...you keep tannin-in on P-Reed!
