1995 Domaine A.-F. Gros Vosne-Romanée Aux Réas
91 points
Pale garnet with bricking to an orange rim. Aromas of dried roses, earth, dried currant, orange rind, and a hint of spice. Very perfumed. Medium-bodied, with integrated tannins showing dried cherry notes. Moderate finish, ~35s, with red fruit. Very elegant, and drinking well now.

Medium-ruby colour. Aromas of smoke, wood, plum, and currant. Medium-bodied, quite fresh, with firm tannins. A little closed on the palate, but shows hints of red fruit. Needs time.

Red
1996 Domaine Coste-Caumartin Pommard
85 points
Pale garnet colour. Aromas of leather, balsamico, dried flowers, and sandalwood. Light-medium bodied, with dried red fruit. Short finish, ~10-15s, with dried red fruit and leather. A little past its prime and drying out. Drink now.
Red
2003 Domaine Coste-Caumartin Pommard 1er Cru Les Fremiers
90 points
Medium ruby/burgundy colour with violet tinges to the rim. Fruity nose of strawberry jam, currant, and alcohol. Medium-bodied with lots of acidity supported by nice strawberry, cherry, and currant fruit. Toffee notes develop with a little swirling. Good structure. Moderate finish, ~30s, with red berry fruit. This wine started to close up in the glass after a couple hours, bringing the tannins to the fore. This has the potential to be something really nice with cellaring. 90+ points.

Red
2002 Domaine Jacques Prieur Beaune 1er Cru Les Champs Pimont
89 points
Light-medium ruby colour. Aromas of herbs, cherry, and strawberry. Medium-bodied, with currant, strawberry, and bubble gum. Short-moderate finish. 89+ points.
Red
2002 Domaine Jacques Prieur Beaune 1er Cru Grèves
90 points
Medium garnet colour. Quite closed on the nose, but showing hints of of red fruit, spice, and vanilla. Light-bodied, with cherry, earth, plum, and currant notes. Nice texture. Short-moderate finish, ~20s, with red fruit. More approachable than the Champs-Pimont right now, but both are in need of cellaring. 90+ points.
