Plenty of green apple with Meyer lemon. Very bright start-to-finish with an expanding finish. Great when popped-and-poured, even better two hours later.

Massive spice box with a complex array of both ripe and lean cherry, both red and black. So much here, but I find the whole cluster spice slightly too pronounced right now, making this the rare 2010 that isn’t quite ready.

Red cherry and berry everywhere with background savory spice, meat, floral and lather notes. Everything in wonderful harmony. Good weight, very good length. Very good now.

Corked

Ripe cross-section of black fruit with subtle meatiness, still showing assertive tannins. Very fun and enticing aromas (Frank describes it as “sunshine”), even if ever-so-slightly backward. Palate shows the same potential, but even more backwardness for now, better 20205-.
