July 16, 2022 - Magnum, next to a Meo Corton. If one looks really hard, there is some purple fruit signature to Roumier in the background, but the baked, green flavors characteristic of most Hospices wines (the Corton greeness did not help here either) are things I cannot look past. Very thin, if it feels lightly underripe, for the vintage too. 90

October 26, 2021 - Nose is fruity, young and pleasant. Luscious attack, rich and pretty. Ripe black fruit, has eaten the new oak flavor well but clearly not as expressive as it will become.

September 22, 2021 - Burgundy Dinner with Friends (Marino - Los Angeles CA): Ripe cross-section of black fruit with subtle meatiness, still showing assertive tannins. Very fun and enticing aromas (Frank describes it as “sunshine”), even if ever-so-slightly backward. Palate shows the same potential, but even more backwardness for now, better 20205-.

October 6, 2018 - Enjoyable, but not really a Roumier.

August 22, 2018 - At the start this was sultry and gorgeous, loaded with black, savage fruit and herbal complexity - marvelous Corton character. With some time it began to close down, showing that even after 13 years this will continue to benefit with cellaring. Likely 93-94 points.
