Cork broke, but got it out with a corkscrew. Still a bit of bubble to it. Amber color, loads of caramel, nuttiness and a slight Sherry note. There’s some sweet pear still, and even a little acid on the finish, but this seems to be a textbook example of well aged good vintage champagne.

color darker than the 82 Dom it followed. Loads of caramel, some coffee. It lightens up on the back of the tongue if you let it sit, showing some brighter lemon pound cake notes. Exceeded expectations.

Loads of red and black fruit, definitely reads old Bordeaux. This is absolutely incredible, tasting 20ish years old, loads of life ahead. Dunn Howell is crazy with age.
