Bright berry and orchard fruit, both tart and taut with very good length.

Completely and fully mature with baked apple notes throughout, good richness, good depth.

Lots of fresh apple, lemon, and lemon peel with an overall tart character, albeit with plenty of energy and good enough weight. Wonderfully fresh for the vintage.

An odd wine for me. Floral start with red fruit that seems nearly ripe enough, but frankly a bit green and herbaceous. Others enjoyed this much more.

Open 7 hours, 2 in decanter. Mostly mature red cherry with dried floral notes, hints of licorice. Persistent with good length, good enough weight. At a very good place now, unlikely to develop more complexity

Open 4 hours before serving. Dense and powerful red cherry with savory spice and faint floral notes. Backward for now, but so much powerful fruit clearly teasing us with its potential. I don't know if this needs 5 or 10 or 15 more years to fully express itself, but this needs more time.

Opened 3 hours, 1 in decanter. Old school style, but borderline dirty. Good density. Flawed? Probably, but otherwise an 85 point wine tonight.

Open for 5 hours before serving with a splash decant. An odd wine to me. Absolutely well polished, this is a charming wine but not classically Barolo to me. Yes, red cherry with spice, but this seems too modern and fleshy. But very enjoyable.

A big step up over the Rocche, lots here as well with a more classic Barolo fruit and spice profile. Red and black cherry , rich and well spiced, charming enough despite a faint hint of VA.

So charming and well balanced red cherry and berry with licorice and floral notes. Very well balanced with good depth. Ready for enjoyment right now.

Old, old school style in every respect. This comes across as a bit disjointed, needing more time to harmonize, but it is almost 30yo.

So much great fruit here, but there seems to be a touch of VA and also a touch of brett, but still 90 point wine despite those problems.

Sweet and rich with good depth showing fresh and dried apricot with a maple syrup note. Good now.
