Opened and served immediately. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout with light, very fine beading. If I was rating this wine on the nose alone it would be a minimum of WIML95 points. Wonderful nose of freshly baked honey wheat bread followed by some notes of apple with just a dash of sherry later on. Palate just half a step behind that wonderful nose with flavors of apples, pears and a bit of cherry on the medium to long finish. Bright acidity, full bodied. Drink or hold but I see no reason to hold it's drinking so well right now.

Opened and served immediately. Garnet color in the glass with just a slight brownish twinge towards the edges, fairly clear hue throughout. Nose of licorice, leather, sandlewood and a bit of dust. Flavors of black berries, a bit of cherries and an unusual component I'll describe as "menthol". Light acidity, fully integrated tannins, medium body. Drink now.

Opened and served immediately. If drinking now it needs a minimum of an hour in the decanter in my opinion. Purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of melted black licorice, florals and a mix of blue and black fruits. Flavors of currants, berries and black licorice. Medium to bright acidity, still fairly firm tannins, pretty full bodied as well. Drink now with a decant or continue to hold over the medium term, perhaps longer.

Opened and decanted about 2 hours before serving. Dark purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of graphite, melted black licorice, a dash of smoke and a mix of dark fruits. Flavors of black licorice, black cherries and a bit of base minerality. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Hold. Probably not fair to rate this wine at this stage but rate it I did.
