Quaffable. Better than its name. Not as heavy as some Zinfandels. Not very similar to Tuscan reds. Not as smooth. Peppery. Overtones of a herb garden (basil). Might not be worth £9.50.

Smells and tastes a bit like a mouldy basement. Tastes as if it was vinified with oak chips rather than barrels. If it was a coffee I would put a sugar in it to try to pep it up. Does nothing for me. Gave up after half a glass. Next!!!
