Community Tasting Notes 2

February 13, 2010 - Quaffable. Better than its name. Not as heavy as some Zinfandels. Not very similar to Tuscan reds. Not as smooth. Peppery. Overtones of a herb garden (basil). Might not be worth £9.50.

May 11, 2008 - Made from blend of multiple grapes (mostly Syrah and Zinfandel) this wine is rich purple in colour. Blueberry, blackcurrant and liquorice abound on the nose. The palate is rich and smooth – great red fruit, cigar box characters and good acidity. Nice dry finish.
