Drinking superbly; decanted & let breath for about 2 hours. Beautiful red fruit, well balanced, nice depth. 3-5 more years on it if you want to let it go further.

Color has beautiful Benjamin Moore 'dinner party' tone, with undertones reminiscent of Mediterranean-rusted nails. The aromas dancing up from the nose brings memories of freshly fallen & lightly crushed leaves upon a cool morning forest floor. Its age is as graceful as the first light peering over the horizon on a spring morning. Beautiful flavor profile of mushroom, prototypical vegetal note from the Cab Sauv, and dusty barn door. Acidity gives it the backbone that keeps this wine feeling fresh and lively. Wonderful to drink on its own, but best enjoyed with foods you love and with those you love. Drink now if you have any left in the cellar; pop & pour!

Such a beautiful wine - floral notes, honey, medium bodied...and bone dry. Wonderful on its own and with food thanks to the lovely acidity.

Drinking beautifully straight from the bottle. Warmer wood notes, with plenty of stone fruit, with a bit of caramel overtone. Honey/floral as well. Firm acidity and wonderfully balanced. Need to find more of this one!

Dark red, inky color with only slight signs of age. On the nose, aromas of dark fruit, anise, menthol. Palate still has a lot of fruit...blueberry, blackberry. Drinking beautifully (popped & poured). Nicely balanced and acidity keeps things in check.

Nose of cherry and red fruit of Pinot...more of a New World style with nicely integrated oak and minimal barnyard/earthy notes...reminiscent of Oregon style Pinots. Very pleased to have a case of this in the cellar.

Nose of wet stone, apricot, minerality. Lemon peel, limestone/minerals on the palate. Lovely acidity. Fresh, clean finish. Drinking very well out of the bottle. To others' reviews, not overly complex but quite enjoyable.

Nose of dark jammy fruit along with cherry notes, leather, tobacco, peppercorns, and hints of violet. Palate of cigar/sweet tobacco, tart cherry, cocoa. Long finish, big wine...plenty of acidity. Still feels young even though its 11 years old.

Drinking beautifully...decanted for 2 hours; nose of leather, tobacco, meat notes, . Lovely blend on the palate of bell pepper, dark fruit, vanilla/tobacco, black pepper notes from the oak. Long finish. Very well balanced...plenty of acidity still going on. Lots of life on this one...bummed it's our only bottle from this vintage.

Drinking beautifully at 10 years of age; popped & poured, plenty of red fruit, medium body, and plenty of acidity. Well made and a nice balance of New World/Old World. Would buy again if I can find this or newer vintages.

Opened and let breath in bottle for 2.5 hours. Cacao, cherry, cassis/dark fruit, nice chewy mouthfeel. Beautifully long finish...it goes on for a couple minutes. Well-balanced acidity and tannins, and drinking very nicely.

On the nose, aromas of stone fruit, crushed oyster shells, saline water, and seabreeze; plus hints of wine cave. Lemon, floral (rose or orange blossom), mushroom/umami on the palate. Very complex palate/finish. Acidity is fading, so drink now! Medium bodied.

Drank via Coravin comparing 2010-2013; nose is subdued. Acidity and tannins are still very firm...needs more time in bottle. A bitter tight. Note the alcohol content is 15.5%! (2010-2011 are 13.9% and 2012 is 14.5%)
