This is finally ready to drink, give it a good 90 mins before tasting, very left bank, fresh, mature tannins with a nice long after taste of ripe grape pips, full body, theirtiary notes, tobacco, leather, spice. Still has long life ahead. Coravined form a 3L bottle.

Great body dominated by orange peel but lacks acidity, not balanced too sweet for my taste and desapointing for a Tokay essencia/ 6 puntoyones…brought it from a trip to Hungry, I really expected more pleassure.
A happy celebration though that Andres annouced us his asking his girlfriend to marry him!!!

Coravin:
When accessed: funguii, black currant & blackberry, no nose.
90 mins later: hard tannins still not integrated, pure toasted Cofee beans w/leather & pinguica, mid body, long black cherry finish.
2 hrs: Still muted nose
This can take 5y more to evolve & seems like hints of cherry liquor. 92 for now, potentialy 94-95
4 hrs: this is a beautiful wine!!

Estelar!! 90 mins on decanter, great quality bottle, long, long black cherry finish,a 24 year old wine starting to develop thiertiary notes of saddle & pencil shavings, round integrated tannins, incredible w/food pairings @ Maximo Bistrot for Iñaki’s graduation celeb. 3 hrs latter I can still enjoy the aftertaste. Just a bit sad that I don’t have more of this😞

CORAVINED GLASS: muted nose but beautiful jammy cherry & blackberry compote, licorrela & saddle notes, nice subtle oak and round well integrated sweet dusty tannins.
Very enjoyable wine. This is my last bottle, a shame couse its just now that thierdtiary notes are overpowering the high alcohol level. I’d guess good Priorat wines need 20+ years to reach maturity.

Media hr y empieza a abrir: alcohol y frutas negras
Nariz 1y1/2 hr: mutis nada nuevo y aroma apenas perceptible.

Coravined from double magnum, I'd had a glass 2 years ago and it was still hard & closed. I poured me another glass today and after 2 hrs it was really good. Color barely shows some traces of age, still purpule with light brownish rim. Lots of black currant & pine forest on the nose, with great attack, powerfull mid palate and a long minty 3 minute finish with chewy fine grained tannins.
I say after 28 years, this has barely reached the drinking window and has a long, long life ahead & will keep improving as tannins continue to melow.

From Magnum: Coravin pour and left in glass for 2 hrs, brownish-orange rim, a complex layered wine with black cherry color that reflects the 22 years of ageing, big body keeps growing with nose of fresh forest, lots of sweet black cherry, plum compote, dampened earth, strong havana tabaco & ashes, dried leaves, black truffles, old leather, pingüica, sweet soft tannins with slight oak that's beautifully balanced, a little short on acidity, and a velvety texture, medium long finish with strong notes of just grinded black toasted coffee grains & black cherry pulp. Overall a great wine that shows why Pesquera is one of the few top Ribera del Duero bodegas, second only to Vega Sicilia.
This is on a beautiful spot right now and ready to be enjoyed and judging from how long these Top Riberas age, this will still grow for at least another 20 years.

Still a young wine, Gave it a good 2-3 hour decant, unresolved fine grainy & dusty tannins, -a rare and very distinctive dominating and defined note of mint, green apples & pears that's quite a surprise, strange experience that's even stronger than on some white wines. I'm giving the next bottle at least 5 more years on the cellar.
A curious story...I brought this to a business lunch with a long time customer because It was the same as a box of wine that I gave him as a wedding present 7 years ago. I thought, it would be a nice touch that he would appreciate.....funny though, after asking to see the decanted bottle he just said "I must tell you, we're getting divorced!!"

Largo 2 minutos +

Mmm....relaxing afternoon w/ Diana Krall and Achaval Ferrer Finca Mirador 2003. Hard to beat!
Just great @ 12 years old, guess that kills The thought that malbec is not for aging.
This is still very young, aging just fine, with all the powerfull, fruitful, complex fine sweet tanninn, has lost all green notes it had back in 09, its suntous like a caramel fills the mouth with inky grape, black fruit, earth, and a note of saddle & tar. I'll bet it will be amaizing 15 years from now, dont be afraid to keep them in the cellar for your retirement and have one one me & Diana Krall

Corvine & tasted after one hr in glass, Great nose of violets, jammy black fruit and cedar. on the palate is similar with added chocolate, mint and good length, very soft tannings for a 5 year old, this is a good QP wine, but nothing special... it can be a fine food wine to go along with grilled ribeye. totally approachable now but still has a good 5 years+.

Consistent with last years note, still has a high concentration and rustic structure, tanins need more time to mellow down, many years left in this.
Note, I dont think this is the Alpha series, but this must be antecesor to the Montes Alpha M premium series.

Good bottle shows little sediment, After 2 hrs decant started opening witn medium body, totaly refined sweet tanins, Nice clear color w/Brownish rim, nose of cedar, tabaco, led pencil, and violet & barn aromas. Similar palate showing sweet black cherry, more green pepper, black currant, cassis. Very elegant & refined. Theres only one more bottle left and although this is totaly mature now, but trusting a quality Chateau Talbot is, I will give it at least some 5 y more to see how it develops more thierdciary nuances, sweet long finish realy a very good Paulliac.
It smells like Forest floor, Mineral, Stoniness, Mushroom, Blackberry, Black currant (cassis), Espresso, Cedar, Lead Pencil, Tobacco, Bell Pepper, Meaty, and Barnyard. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Leathery texture. The wine finishes Long.

This one Was not as powerfull as the one I Drank 2 years ago but still fresh, gorgeous, frutifull @ ripe, not a Huge nose or length, but strong in the attack, very sweet round pálate of ripe black fruit and some Green notes with mint and anís, tannins are silky and Well integrated. This is got plenty of life ahead, perhaps on the aged wine style will be a blockbuster sometime 10 or 15 years . Drank with a good arrachera and a morillas + fuet rissoto, with a fino reduction, cooked for the kids.

Not a connosieur of california chards, This one is a great PQR & @ 5 years is showing some white Burgundy notes reminiscence of a Puligny Montrachet Village wine, like some fárm animals and earth. Still have 5 left I'll be trying next bottle in a year. Never has a California Chardonay that Was so close to the Burgundy Style. .

This is one of the last 6 btls of an 12 case batch that I bartered for back in 2001. First btl Drunk since the wine opened up, all others where totally shut down, rustic & agressively tánnic, unpleasent even after 4-5 hrs decanting. Today it is lovely!! Dark ruby w/ bricked ring.
The legs are Slow. It smells like Black currant (cassis), Blackberry, Forest floor, Mushroom, Cedar, and Oak. It tastes like Blueberry, Black currant (cassis), Fig, Plum, Mushroom, Forest floor, Coffee, Medium Toast, Oak, Lavender, leather and Tobacco. The body is Full. The wine has Round, silky texture. The wine finishes Long. Id' say it just starter its dcescending cicle, a very enjoyable wine. I'll try the next one next year.

Palate mirrors the nose, soft integrated tannins, + some smoke notes, flesh & tobaco not a long finnish but very lovely and enjoyable a great QFP for a 11 year aged wine.
