Distinctive Paso Robles terroir, fashioned into a French-styled CdRV. Juicy, pithy, and gritty fruit, muddled flower petals, lush middle and back, with appealing tannic grip, velvety finish. Satisfying.

Bright, rather elegant and quite pure. Hint of spicy white pepper and a suggestion of pleasant funk. Lovely balance. Harmonious. Extremely enjoyable over a couple hours. (At Zuni.)

Served with the turkey on Thanksgiving. Magnum, decanted shortly before serving. Drinking really well. Great fruit and structure. A beautiful expression of Russian River pinot.
