In my opinion Whitemanholt nailed it with one exception. I believe there is still some life left in this wine and I found the finish to be velvet like and lingers for the correct amount of time

I was shocked by this wine. After 30 years it comes across as just reaching its peak. Well balanced with minor hints of Citrus and apple. Smooth on the pallet with a short but lingering finish.

Drank the last of this vintage and in my opinion it is at or just past its peak. Last prior bottle consumed was about two years ago and while I cannot compare taste to then it is getting a little thin. Drink up 26 years is a pretty good run
