September 20, 2023 - At its best. Drink now!

August 1, 2023 - Was disappointed as it really smelled like it was full of TCA, opened a second bottle which had some minor funk that blew off and was drinking quite nice within two hrs. The first bottle was left forgotten on the counter overnight (open). The next day just before dumping it I had a taste and the proverbial miracle has happened -the wine was great in fact better then the bottle the night before. ( i would rate it 94 points) This doesn't happen often but sure was a nice surprise. Lesson learned. Beware as i noticed several postings about infested bottles - worth keeping them open for slow ox just in case they are suspect.

May 14, 2023 - Maintains it's dark ruby color-no brick. Tobacco and cherries on the nose and palate. The tannins have softened. It appears to be nearing the end of it's drinking interval. I have one more bottle-will drink it soon.

April 1, 2023 - Beautiful color with brick edges. Earth on the nose. Fruit almost gone. Got better with about an hour of air. Mushroom, plum. Nice finish. Drink up.

May 8, 2022 - opened 2 bottles. One flawed. 2nd bottle past prime. first 30 min leather and red fruits then faded pretty quick. Drink up!
