Aroma: Lots of wood, rich and intense. Jammy cooked fruit.
Mouth: full and rich in the mouth. Chocolatey. Woody.
Reminds me of La Planta with its obvious wood.

Good without being especially fascinating. Nice oakey flavours (perhaps a tad forced). Slightly thin in the mouth. Lovely aromas. I think there are better Spanish wines for this price, but it's certainly not bad.

Full, rich mouthfeel. Packed with black fruit. Toasted notes. Sort of chocolatey. Not mind-glowingly complex, but for €11 an excellent bottle of gutsy wine.

I do like this. Manzanilla notes (from the oxidation) and very interesting. Still, wish it was a little fuller in the mouth. Let it sit after opening and don't drink it straight from the fridge. I'd decant.

For €1.50 at Lidl, this wine is fantastic value. Discovered it through Supervinos 2014. Drank it while watching a Wes Anderson film at an outdoor cinema.... Perfect pairing.

Appearance: Lovely light cherry colour.
Nose: Delicious. Red fruit - raspberry. Vanilla. Soft. Pulls me in. Elegant. Some spice.
Mouth: Soft, elegant, silky. Just slides in and drops down. I enjoy drinking this wine very much. Lovely balance between fruit and wood. Some tobacco. Great wine for drinks with friends.
The body is light/medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

is red fruit, heat, oak. Then a lovely and surprising slightly bitter aftertaste.
Long finish. Very balanced.

Bouquet was a pretty serious hit of smoke and wood chips.

Decanted 30 minutes to let it open up. Spicy, hot, dark fruits (blackberries) and mocha. Silky in the mouth. Delicious. Monastrell 70%, syrah 30%.
