September 2, 2017 - Deep purple to ruby to touch of brown at rim. Nose with good mix of dried dark cherry, dried black currant, band aid, cigar box. Med acid, high alcohol, high tannin, leather, long finish, cigar box, dried black fruits, touch of spice. A bit past it's peak maybe but still delicious. Not as much complexity as I would expect. Curious after decanting.

January 16, 2014 - wonderful minerality on the nose, great balance of acid/alcohol/tannins, high alcohol not evident, complex, and a long finish. Regret I only bought 6. Should age nicely.
