Didn’t know I had this bottle. Last one was 2017. This wine is VERY young and VERY GOOD. I’d hold this another 5-10 years or give it lots of air. This is a classic, one of the best in the US. Well done.

For 10 years old and a basic wine, this is drinking incredibly well. Deep lemon, still some oak, but well rounded and a treat for having kept this.

Briefly decanted. This is drinking nicely, still holding on to the classic Rhys cherry but starting to show a little age. I think it’s just entering a good drinking window that should last for several years. This is a great reminder of why I went long on Rhys several years back. Well done.

Wine was hot and stewed (note stored in controlled climate since purchase). Second 2013 we’ve opened tonight which we had to throw out. Very disappointed. Drink up if you have any.
