Great summer quaffer. Nose: lemon verbena tea (lemon, herbal). Palate: nice acidity; very food friendly. Finish: hint of bell pepper.

Drank after 2 hours decanting. Nose: cassis, blueberries, a hint of vanilla. Palate: More of the same plus lots of tannins and acidity. Finish lasts for days. This wine still needs some cellaring.

One of my go-to summer wines. Had with Turkish spiced "chicken chops". Color: bright pink; Nose: red fruits, some soil, a hint of meat; Taste: red fruits continuing on the palate (strawberries, cherries), balanced acidity.

Unique multi-faceted wine. Think of burnt microwave popcorn, including the bag. This resolves into citrus, melon and mineral flavors. At our tasting, people either loved it or hated it.

Pineapples and petrol on the nose. Pineapples continued on the mid-palate with lip-puckering acidity. Finish was sour apples. Certainly, not your typical Riesling, not even a trocken. But I think this is a really good food friendly summer wine.
