Bright red color. Beautiful bright cherries, hint of spicy cola. Perfectly balanced, clean, and great acidity. Didn't need any decanting, but did get even better after 20-30 minutes.

I last tasted this in 2007 and gave it a 91. Since then, the heavy tobacco and cedar have subsided and everything has mellowed and come into focus. Still has a lot of structure and would probably last at least 5 more years. Fruit is showing well. This SA wine is durable and delivers.

Muted nose, a little hot on the palate, low-medium acid, mild tannins. Deep red berries and dusty fruit, cedar, hint of cola. Santa Barbara pinot noir + Sonoma zinfandel = this wine. Medium length finish. Very pleasant with barbeque.

Very pleasant, technically proficient Rose - all the "Brangelina" hype notwithstanding. No bold flavors, so somewhat forgettable afterwards, and overpriced. But a well-made Rose, no doubt.
