4/2/23, 8:37 AM - Looks like no Sangiovese, just Cab, Cab Franc and Merlot - ??
2/26/22, 7:29 AM - Thanks for the detailed note. I will now consider this like a monsant or priorat and let it breath for a couple hours, even if intended to be joven-type. That may explain the rebound TTT saw on the second night. I will leave a note. Regarding the label being in Catalan, I imagine this local winery was not anticipating a world stage when Saranty tapped them.
8/15/21, 7:31 AM - Thanks for the detail. I would have guessed slightly higher in sugar.
5/9/20, 6:51 PM - Last Bottle x4. This is a wonderful surpise - from Extremadura?!
5/9/20, 7:57 AM - Quite different than 22 months ago!
8/4/17, 6:28 PM - Reading others' notes after I entered mine, I agree with Mike K's detail.
3/25/17, 5:03 PM - Note - this tasting note was revised about a year later. It was entered for the wrong wine! I apologize for the mistake - hope I did not mislead anyone. The author.
3/4/17, 5:10 PM - Agree - I think they were unrelated and I may have bought again.
7/29/16, 6:20 PM - Good assessment; agree fully but the petrol is not a deterent. As expected with the volume produced, very consistent vintage by vintage.
7/8/16, 5:08 PM - Drank again 7/8/16: fruit is primarily cherry (dark and sweet) with plum, blackberry and boysenberry. Some leather and earth tones, with vanilla and NOT too much oak. Tannins are even softer and barely presently. Some minerality and slightly drier as it warmed. Consistent.Continued to enjoy it.
2/6/16, 5:47 PM - Deja vu - my wife had the same response! Our notes are similar. I will type them now.
1/9/16, 1:54 PM - Had it again. Certainly drier but I like it. About 90 pts.
11/13/15, 4:58 PM - Same as above but noted some cranberry as well on palate for bottle #4..
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
