  We poured 8 ounces in a small bottle and consumed it 3 weeks later. That time allowed for a much more integrated wine. Mild dark fruits and very balanced acidity with soft but structured tannins.
  
  Worth a pickup. I would suggest opening early in the morning to consume with dinner.

  May 7, 2022 - To the nose, black cherry and cassis with very slight oak or leather. On the palate, fruit forward with black cherry, blackberry, black licorice, raspberry and very slight blueberry. This evolves as it starts to open up after 30-45 minutes. Most notable spice is pepper (white more than black) which grows as it opens. Slight oak, and slight vegetal after opening. Very slight slate or wet concrete and red meat after opening. Tannins are minimal, barely providing structure. Medium to big mouthfeel with medium length. I agree with GG that this is not complex, but is still enjoyable, paired well with chili, and has excellent QPR. Will explore other wines from this vintor.
