Good but not quite $30. A little peppery and hot.

This would go nicely with smoked turkey.

Plum, pepper.. A bit thin otherwise but doesn't finish like a "cheap red". Not sure if this is as much of a hidden gem as other CH's.

Cherry cavendish tobacco. Mint. Menthol? Paired quite nicely with lamb meatloaf.

Agree it's quirky but pleasant. Nice GSM for lo-do. Had it with steak and grilled asparagus.

This was a nice, full but mellow wine. Cassis, tobacco, perhaps a hint of chocolate. Went well with our beef dish.

Pop and pour. Strawberry and plum nose. Nice fruit overall, hint of leather, some heat. See how the second tasting goes tomorrow.

Vanilla, licorice, oak. Very nice, drank as 2nd bottle following Flowers Pinot. Lots of character and good balance.

Good value. I didn't find it to be too hot. I looooove Dry Creek Zin.

We quite liked this.. not sure if it's on its way up or down, but will hang on to another bottle for a while and see.

This would've been better with some big flavors. I think we had it with some ribeye and it was a bit overpowering. Plum, mint? Nice fruit as well.

Had this with a mixed grill of mushroom, chicken and andouille, and it was a fabulous pairing. Big and spicy.

I have to agree; while this is a really nice, lush, berry-rich wine with a good feel, it wasn't the "OMGyouMustBuyThis" as recommended. The 2005 must've been something special.

One of my favorites of Ravenswood's lineup. Nice and lush, black cherry, perhaps some vanilla. Nice and soft. Drink now.

A good zin (mostly). Good balance, soft tannins, nice finish. Not the most complicated glass in the world, but I don't expect it to be. Agree with comments about the 2nd pour being better.

Not as good as I'd hoped; I agree it's a bit too hot. Some of the makings of an enjoyable glass (nice jammy fruit, decent structure, long finish) but overall a bit too harsh. Maybe a few more years down would help?

Nice table red, though I think I prefer the Menage a Trois for that -- at least it's not trying to be more elegant than it is. A little heavy on the zin spice without the thick jammy payoff I'm generally a fan of. Still, good alongside pasta with some kick.
