1/18/16, 9:39 AM - Good to hear. The one I brough to the Pichon dinner we had many years ago seemed off, as I had high expectations of the wine. Mouton was quite nice in 66 as well iirc.
5/25/13, 12:10 PM - had one a few weeks ago with Ross and Mike over at Ross'. It showed the best out of the batch we had. Definite upswing!
8/15/17, 5:53 AM - great stuff, still sitting on mine. hope all is well
11/8/14, 9:22 AM - good news the 08 is awesome!
3/6/15, 6:53 AM - too young
7/21/17, 11:38 AM - Had a similar impression bottle about 6 months ago. My assessment was heat damage as the label was destroyed/cork was saturated. Dunno...
7/13/13, 1:13 PM - Definitely lay off Croix Boissee as the wood will obviously take more time to integrate. They must have known given the endowment of the vintage. It will pay dividends in the future and will be a pleasure to drink aside the Grez as a slight stylistic foil.
12/18/14, 12:43 PM - Interesting perspective. I don't think we've breached the value spectrum. I think it will become more apparent as the recent vintages age. These wines have more upside than most think.
2/24/15, 7:53 AM - disheartening to hear.
6/1/15, 9:34 AM - bummer...
8/5/15, 1:09 PM - 09 Foillard CdP like Valpoi? Residual Sugar?
2/6/16, 11:40 AM - Had similar impression with a bottle last year. Table was torn between TCA or not...
9/28/17, 1:35 PM - I had great luck with this on two occasions in the last 18 months. May be an off bottle...
11/26/21, 2:43 PM - Would love to crack one open alas all I have are the Blancs 😁
