Incredible value. Smooth and medium body--good by itself or a yummy Greek Pizza

Paired nicely with Pan Seared Salmon and Rice. Ran it through the Venturi Areator, a.k.a. the fart machine.

Look forward to a glass tonight

Have no idea where this came from but it was spectacular. We opened and had a bit on friday. By saturday when milk and I finished it, the bottle had become so smooth it was unreal.
Will find more

Nice and tart. We were looking for a dry tannic wine and this was perfect. Lanya called it a nice drinkable wine, not blown away.

Peppery goodness. Not quite as good as the Howell Mtn Zin.

Fantastic, best bottle of night. Had with Mielke and Lanya. Super jammy in a very good way. Perhaps the best Linne blend going.

Lanya enjoyed at the tasting room and then enjoyed last night, as did Loni. I wasnt too fond of it. Maybe it was the goat cheese but I felt it had the tell-tale characteristics that tend to trip up wines made with Sonoma Valley Cab grapes. Something of a one-dimensional taste with no finish to speak of. Still a big Eric Ross fan though. Sticking with the other wines

Wasnt a big fan, Lanya and Loni seemed to like it but I couldnt get over the hump. The drunk goat cheese was amazing however. New favorite

Had with Lanya over a couple of days. Was nothing short of spectacular. It fit the perfect wine profile. Tannic enough to sit on the tongue nicely yet was really inviting. Was good on day one and better on day two. I think its come into its own and I may look into getting a bit more. Excellent wine.

Solid, a bit flinty and mineraly but everyone loved it as a second bottle. More than held its own.

Spectacular. If notes are right then its only $30 and would make it the best turley deal ever. Very rich, had w Paul and Gordine. A super lush zin, somewhat Petit Syrah ish Lends even more credibility to Howell mtn as the premiere AVA with no close 2nd.

Spectacular. Was a gift from Kai. Real keeper. Wonderfully soft blend with a very rounded profile...very full, absolutely ideal. Looking forward to checking into more of these guys wines in near future.

Lanya liked more than I did. Was not as impressed with this Cuvee as last Yoakim Cuvee. I am not sure what to think but am still very bullish on this winery overall. Was a bit too young and wasnt smooth enough. Previous Cuvee maybe had more merlot-type fruit in it. who knows.

Lanya says its as good as the Famous Gate in its prime. I like it too. Tasting room is the only "must" while in the Sonoma Valley, you wanna get a feel for why we live here, got to Eric Ross tasting room.

Blow out good. Trying to get more. Was great beyond expectation (seems to be a theme)
Broke it out with the Havas matriarchy and since it was a 2nd bottle didn't want to drop a fidee. Who knew, right up there. Harkens back to the days of yore, rockpile petite syrah, the beach in saus, orgies and what not (there goes the governorship)

to the point of wine: was surprisingly smooth and speaking of syrah, very full flavor. more syrupy goodness than one would expect.

Shall I say it, amazing? Very surprised. With the club discount this was perhaps the best 24$ Merlot ever. Unlike the people in the movies and on the internets, I love Merlot. Maybe 2006 was a good merlot year in the valley. Amazing finish without that bitter youngish taste.

Quite good after some serious decanting. Was initially a bit too mineralish for me and a bit tinny. After a day it was very very nice. Seems a good Petite Sirah is hard to find under $40. Not sure this has cracked the code but came close.

A bit weak upon opening but the next day was a very pleasant surprise. We tasted it next to an 03 Turley Zin so it wasn't really fair. On its own and with a bit of aeration it was a hit. I recommend but a bit off the price point

1st sip was great, by 3rd sip it was way too sweet and cough syrupy. Was a bit better 3rd day but def not a "zin like" grape. Total bummer but its always good to try new stuff.

pretty good, a bit peppery and airy for my taste. Not dirty/bulky enough to match up to anderson valley guys or floral and smooth finishing enough for a good carneros. Not a repeat
