The wine is bright ruby in colour, with a nose that is richly perfumed with fresh and candied fruits. The beautifully ripened red fruits weave a seamless web of intrigue, delivering perfectly measured sweetness to the palate. The mid-palate is a melody of candied fruit, musk, fresh fennel and herbal infusion, dancing across the tongue, providing exquisite savoury balance. The tannins are still tightly wound, readying to unfurl in the coming years, but there is a silky, sensuous tension they add to the wine. Truly exceptional.
