2016 Clos Lavaud Kosher Lalande de Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
I had some people mention in another wine group that this was peak, but I had the opposite experience. Improved over 24 hours. Really wonderful. I think this has years left.

pretty dead unfortunately, minimal acidity, like fermented apple juice.

fantastic as usual. Delicious. Not cloying. Great balance and mix of flavors.

this was nice. a bit more floral than I expected, good balance but not as acidic as I usually like my rieslings.

Big wine. Over the top fruit, but expected. Not my style but good with a rich meat.
Red
This is probably my favorite shiran red wine (that I've had). Great balance, perfect fruit, judicious oak. Med to full body. Good structure.
White
This is really good. Oak felt but really perfect amount, baking spice and vanilla, nice fruit. Impressive.
Rosé - Sparkling
2021 Binah Aura Pennsylvania Chambourcin (view label images)
Nice, good balance of acid and fruit.
Red
2019 Bachoushe The Carpenter Upper Galilee Red Rhone Blend
Awesome. Love it. Probably peak.
White
Very enjoyable. Med+ acid, citrus and stone fruit. Nice length finish.

This was really quite good. Med body, nice balanced fruit (blackberry, maybe some raspberry), smokiness. Never had a chambourcin before, but drinking very nicely although did improve with a bit of air.

Delicious. Bright and tart, high acid, stone fruits.

2020 Binah Stella Lehigh Valley White Blend (view label images)
Excellent for the price. Nice fruit, enough acid. Drink now and probably within 12-24 hours of opening (even in fridge).

This bottle was OK. Tasted a bit stewed, muddled fruit. Not bad but not what I had previously tasted. Hopefully just bottle variation and not affected by mevushal.
Red
Interesting. On opening, tasted mostly oak with little fruit and thought it was mostly dead. Hours later, fruit really picked up and was quite balanced and enjoyable. Great qpr.

wasn't sure what to expect as I've never had a nj CF before. Well made, light/med body, good balance, had a slight astringency underneath the dark fruit which was a bit weird, not sure if this would improve with age.

Wow. Loved this. Great within an hour of opening, probably better after 24 hours, but was still very fresh after close to 48 hrs. Bright sweet red fruit, vanilla, concentrated, long finish.
Red
Really wonderful wine (purchased in Israel). Dark fruit, bramble, leather, nice finish. Easy to drink with medium acidity and tannins.
Red
Good CS. In drinking window. I think I prefer the Alex, but more acidic and balanced than the Napa.
White
Really wonderful. Expensive and only available at the winery, but unique for kosher. Crisp, moderately acidic, some ripe honey dew, citrus/lemon, and a creaminess (? oak aged) which really added to the mouthfeel.

this was nice; easy drinking, fruity but not over the top, med body, low/med acidity, not tannic. A drink now wine and crowd pleaser.
White - Off-dry
Still good, but fruit and acid may be fading a bit.
Red
Drink now wine. pretty nice, good balance, not over the top fruit, not complex. easy drinking and enjoyable.

This was surprisingly pretty good; never had dolcetto, pretty tannic, but good fruit, medium+body, good food fine.

Red
It was an easy to drink wine, restrained fruit and a bit unidimensional but balanced.
Red
Enjoyed it and did almost direct comparison with another southern rhone. Great fruit and balance. Fell apart after about 36 hours. Would probably drink now and next few years.
Red
Loved it; exactly the style I love. Typical notes, dark fruit, earthy, mushroom. However, the structure felt a bit light, and tannins were pretty integrated, so this felt like it's in its currently in its peak window. I don't think this will be a very long lasting yon figeac.
Red
excellent. see previous TN.
White - Sweet/Dessert
Loved it. Not cloying, great acid, tons of sweet fruit, apricot, honey.
Red
absolute wow. This is showing no signs of fading, and honestly tasted young. Probably not even peak. I am no expert, but this could easily go another5+ years. For the price I bought it, incredible QPR. I wish I had more bottles. Layered, black fruit, mushroom, forest floor. Delicious. I was burned by a prominent reviewer from many years ago (2018?) so I wish I had kept my earlier bottles longer.
White
impressive for the price. No (yet?) chamomile/tea notes to me, but great balance of fruit/acidity.
White - Sweet/Dessert
delicious; has a deeper quality and taste than many other "dessert"/ late harvest wines. See other TNs for details.
Red
Really fantastic, layered CS, minimal aeration needed. Likely in its peak window imho.
White
delicious, great balance. Typical style and tasting notes.
White
Good oaky chardonnay. Not over the top, but definitely that style.
Red
This is very good for the price. Maybe a touch too much oak on the palate, but good balance overall. Definitely in its window and not likely meant for longer term aging.

it was fair/good. Interesting floral nose. Fair acid and not flabby, but fruit was a bit muted at all temps. Not sure if due to age or just the wine or varietal. I was happy to try it.
Red
I really liked this; definitely prominent grenache notes, juicy, but well balanced and immensely drinkable.
White - Sparkling
Loved it.

Not exactly my typical style; not a fruit bomb but definitely more "new world" fruit. I thought it was nice, wife did not enjoy. I've never had argaman, so not sure how it affected the blend, but there were not alot of layers to unpack.
Red
2020 Moise Taieb Pavillon du Vieux Chantre Puisseguin-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
delicious, old world, med body, low/med dark fruit, floral, earthy. Med length finish. Really nice.
Red
I think this is in peak/drinking window; has many years left, but only needed ~15-30 min of air. Deep dark red fruit, a hint of smokiness, lots of forest floor. Really wonderful wine.
White
beautiful wine. great color amber gold, viscous. Don't drink too cold as flavors are muted on the palate. Amazing nose, lots of peach, lychee, maybe a hint of petrol (but not as much as I would have liked), acid is good and not overbearing. Moderate+ length finish.
