Don't see how this could be better. The balance of dark fruit, oak, cedar, tobacco is perfect. Truly one of the smoothest, most satisfying bottles I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. More experienced tasters suggest further aging, but I love where it is right now. I have two additional (375ml) bottles, so I can do both!

Cherry, leather, graphite, bell pepper which fades after an hour in decanter. Fine tannins. Bit of cocoa, licorice came on after a couple hours. Complex, savory. Fruit comes somewhat forward after a few hours. Great experience.

Showing incredibly after just 3 months in bottle! More savory and meaty than fruity at this stage, but blueberry makes an appearance. Fine tannins, lingering finish. This should evolve over next 10-15 years.

Baked apple, not really bread-y. First glass superb. Second quickly lost its bubbles. Judging by this bottle it's time to drink. Consume immediately after opening.

Our tasting panel other than me and one other didn’t like this, but I always found its herbaceous, non-fruit-forward nature appealing. Held up brilliantly. Dark cocoa, slight bell pepper, dry finish. Cuts through fat, rich dishes with ease. Last of six. Wish I would have bought 12 at the price.

Nice acidity. Plum, red cherry. Medium tannin. Pair with tomato-based sauce, pasta. Ratatouille. Ribs with tangy tomato BBQ sauce. Time to drink next 2 years IMO, but Unti wines consistently exceed my aging expectations.

Showing well in youth. Dark fruit, vibrant acidity, mild tannins. Pair with usual suspects: pizza, pasta, burgers, BBQ. Lighter choice for steak, Ratatouille, spicy chili, chile verde, charcuterie/hard cheese. Full disclosure: I work at Ledson and this is always one of our best.

Odd experience here. First glass: Loved red wine mouthfeel, dry yeastiness of a sparkling. But by the end of the second glass, palate fatigue had set in and it felt more like drinking cherry cough syrup. Try it for its uniqueness, but share with friends. Not worth the money.

LD Le Rêve, in my opinion, best sparkling in US. Rivals any Champagne. Serve with fine caviar or great oysters. Don't waste it.

Mousse wasn't that fine or delicate as I remember. May have just been that bottle. But gorgeous color, yeast, red fruit, long finish. Love to have ham or pork loin with this, but we just enjoyed at cocktail hour.

Hopefully I can hold back and age these, but it's fabulous now. Creamy texture, just a hint of lemon, fine mousse. Best in the USA. Compares favorably with Champagne.

Superb but don't drink for at least 2-3 more years. Waiting 10+ from vintage is always rewarded with L'Ermitage. That's when the creamy texture and bready characters come forward. Absolute steal if you have the patience.
