Nice nose of primarily black fruit and pepper. Palette had black stone fruit and berries with a touch of olive brine.

Got this from my father in law’s bar where it was just hanging out not properly stored. Naively I thought it may be ok. Unfortunately not. Nose was a typical Chardonnay but tasted like straight up vinegar.

1 hour decant but still needed more time. Blackberry and plum on the nose with a bit of leather. Quite dry on the palette with baking spices and a lot of dark fruit as well. Could've used 1-2 more years in the bottle but showing nice structure.

PnP but really need it to aerate to open up. Once open then it was pure magic! Cherries and very floral on the nose. Spice, tea, dried cherries and dark berries on the palate. Nice smooth finish as well! Will hold my other bottles for a year or two longer.

Loved the orange-ish color to this wine. Citrus dominates the nose along with the palate but it's definitely not a one note wine. The acidity is mouth-watering and pushes you to drink more! A shame that it's already sold out.

Beautiful pink color and lovely floral nose with berries. Strawberry and summertime fruit dominate the palate with a bright acidity that propels the finish. Need to buy more!

Full bodied Pinot that sets it apart from its Las Altura sibling. Almost cab like with subtle spice notes. Color was a nice ruby with a nose of blue fruit. Had with a variety of Japanese food and worked well overall!

Great Friday evening wine with a nose of bright berry fruit and predominately strawberry flavors. Not overly sweet and enough acidity to balance it out. One of my faves from V. Sattui!

Inky/purple in appearance. Aromas of raspberry, blackberry and violet. Blackberry, cassis and black pepper on the palette. Medium+ body and a nice finish. Great with a ribeye!

Beautiful nose with great fruit and hint of vanilla. Very Napa cab flavors on the palette (dark fruits, pepper) and smooth finish. Great with venison and celery root dish I had.

Nice nose of spice and fruit. Nice squid ink like look in the glass. Lots of vanilla and the like spices on the palate. Tannins show there's great structure here that should last a long time. Probably too young to truly enjoy now but can become exquisite in 10 years or so.

Nice nose with dark fruit, clove and chocolate. Very smooth and drinking well now though not sure if it will last 5 years. Berries and spice on the palatte with a smooth finish.

Lovely nose with fruit and I swore I could smell peppermint. Berries on the palate and a nice smooth finish. Gonna buy a few more bottles.
