We have opened two bottles in the past month. Both had corks that were crumbling despite proper storage. Wine nose and palate still perfect. Mature fruit but structure still in tact. Delicious on its own.

Did not decant. Velvety with white pepper. Not a long finish. Tannins present but not dominate on the palate. Drank over a period of 60-90 minutes. Perhaps decanting would have made a difference(?)

Pleasantly surprised on this wines staying power. When first opened the fruit seemed to be past its prime, but after 15 mins it opened up and was very enjoyable to drink.
