First try of this producer since a decade+,
found a lonely bottle at a retailer, pnp,
fresh nose, cassis, spicy minerals,
very lively start on the palate, delicate black cassis, graphite, unbalanced without aeration, grainy a little drying tannin, but good grip, elegance pure, somehow the style of the "lost" nineties, a claret in a very good way, needs food at the moment, we pair this one with self made Pizza, perfect, long, long life ahead, one of the better Bordeaux from this again "problematical" vintage,
needs time, would recommend at least 5(+) years, **(*-****-?), around 90-92(+) potential
24 hours later last third of this bottle: really balanced now, refreshing cherry and cassis fruit, minerals, spicy finish, no way tired or oxidized!

2016 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Nebbiolo

I purchased this in search for the holy grail 'bargain' red and perhaps I don't appreciate Nebbiolo enough but to me this one had too much heat and a present syrup-y taste. The wine seemed to lack integration and had plenty of dry and earthy, clay notes but lacking in the floral or fruit tones.
